Timberframe design and build
Dovetail Timberworks provides services from design to frame installation. We’ll visit your building site, discuss your needs, and work with you to design a structure that matches your vision.
We handle material sourcing and engineering approval for the final structure, and will help supply drawings required for your permit application. We will work with your other contractors, to ensure all aspects of the build are compatible with the timber frame.
Brent and his assistants cut the frame by hand in our workshop in Markhamville, NB, then transport it to your building site and erect it.
Custom furniture and millwork
We design and create furniture, mouldings, wooded windows and doors to match existing styles, or according to a clients’ vision. With years of experience working in old homes, some with formal historic designations, we have reproduced mouldings, doors and windows no longer available from traditional suppliers. Whether you’re restoring a heritage building, or want something completely unique, we can bring your vision to life to produce a product that matches your needs exactly.
Shaper / Spindle Moulder Tooling
